DAB+ Software Audio Encoder

CRC-DAPLUS is a DAB+ real-time software audio encoder. It runs on typical personal computers and supports various types of physical inputs. CRC-DABPLUS runs on a free GNU/Linux based operating system and is operated by command line to generate DAB+ compliant bitstreams compatible with CRC-DABMUX. CRC-DABPLUS can be used to encode several channels on the same CPU and can reside together with CRC-DABMUX on the same computer.

 

In principle, the CRC-DABPLUS software encoder can be used with any audio input interface that is supported by the operating system. Also, CRC-DABPLUS has been successfully tested with the AudioScience ASI5044D0 PCI 4-channel professional input/output interface.
